About Me: Hi there! I'm Nicole Alfieri. I started riding at a very young age at a local barn in Pearl River, New York. As I reached my teens, I began working for Saddle Ridge Riding Center in New Jersey. Under the supervision of these trainers, I learned my passion for teaching children. I then spent my late teens to early twenties in the horse racing industry galloping horses for trainers in Minnesota and Florida. I learned to care for race horses on and off the track. This let me form connections that allows me to take in retired race horses and find them suitable homes.
After expecting my first child, I left the race horse industry and decided to lease a barn in Naples, Florida. I taught up to 40 children's lessons per week, managed a small show team, as well as managing the boarding facility. In 2017, I decided to close the facility and focus more on my family.
My specialty: I enjoy teaching children the goal of safe riding, from a beginner rider to intermediate. I have a large focus on a " safety first" approach, along with a proper foundation of balance, that will carry young riders throughout their riding career.
