Katie is a Certified Positive Reinforcement Equine Trainer that uses the Clicker Method. Katie has used the clicker method on all seven of her horses making her very successful in Extreme Cowboy Competitions, Trail Competitions, and Ranch Riding.
She has won:
EXCA Reserve State Champion.
EXCA Green Horse High Point Champion.
3 time-Overall Grand Champion in Trail Rider Challenge- Obstacle Series, being the only rider competing completely brideless!
Katie prides herself in understanding her horses and teaching them things without being forceful, making every learning experience a positive one. Along with being a certified trainer, and CEO of Tamarisk Horse Farm, she loves teaching people the positives of Clicker Training and helping people improve their relationship with their equine partner.
